Pinpoint the Objective and State the Limits
The objective is to create one logo each for the Mynt Talent Pipeline Programs: (1) GCash Aspire Management Development Program, (2) GCash Fintech Engr Cadetship Program, and (3) GCash Accelerate. They should all be cohesive when put side by side but also be able to stand out by themselves.
The client made one non-negotiable request: each logo needs to include a visual element of a paper plane incorporated into them. According to the client, this paper plane symbolizes the talented individuals who will join the programs.
(1) GCash Aspire Management Development Program
GCash Aspire Management Development Program supports Mynt’s strategic business needs by recruiting Management Trainees to tackle problems and innovate solutions.
The program aims to develop Management Trainees into strong, strategic, and operational leaders.

In order to set apart Aspire from the other brands of Mynt, I had to focus on the essence of this program: this opportunity will become a huge turning point for the Management Trainees who have yet to make their mark in the industry. Like those small white paperplanes who haven’t had their turn, they will soon become full-fledged innovators who will lead their communities.

(2) GCash Fintech Engr Cadetship Program
This program aims to better equip young fintech engineering professionals and help them meet the challenges of a more digital ecosystem in the future.
Cadets undergo a 7-month intensive and comprehensive training to hone their skills on various digital advancements and tech innovations.

Using the shape of a polygon as base of the emblem was a conscious decision to mimic a digital ecosystem. The shape works as a container for the emblem and I manipulated the shape to represent the general wind direction the paper plane is propelling towards. Manipulating the shape and the direction is also the way I used to differentiate the logos together.

(3) Accelerate @ GCash
Accelerate@GCash is a leadership development initiative that consists of two programs: the Future Leaders Program (FLP) and Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), which are in partnership with the UA&P and AIM, respectively. The Future Leaders Program is a 10-week program for employees for managerial roles, while the Emerging Leaders Program is a 15-week program for senior manager and AVP roles.

The client decided to rename Accelerate @ Gcash into GCash Accelerate for this project. Since this program is meant to equip current employees with the tools to continuously develop their skills, I wanted to set this logo apart by focusing on the concept of ‘fast-forward’ or ‘accelerating’ - something that will happen to their career after they undergo this program.
