Get ready, art fans and enthusiasts! Pinto Art Museum’s last exhibition of the year will feature a wide array of works from over 100 contemporary Filipino artists.
Titled “20|21,” the exhibition will be curated by painter and Pinto mainstay Ferdinand Montemayor. From promising newcomers to industry veterans in the local art scene, the exhibit will consist of various types of media, such as sculptures, paintings, and many others, pieces on exhibit will fill the halls of Ilustrado I and II of Gallery 7.
An offshoot of last year’s “20|20,” which was meant to be a space where artists could still showcase their work despite the limitations of lockdowns and cancellations of events, especially in the arts industry.
This year, the exhibit is all about hope for the future as the city moves forward from the restrictions caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
While there’s bound to be a broad spectrum of visions and creative pursuits, artists partaking in the exhibition were encouraged to create their pieces with a two-by-two-feet format in order to create a remarkable display in a compact space.
“20|21” will run from December 5, 2021 to January 2, 2022. Pinto Art Museum is located at 1 Sierra Madre St, Grand Heights Subdivision, Antipolo City.
