They say home is where the heart is, but can a fractured family survive the invisible load of grief? The Sandbox Collective will usher in 2025 with the Tony Award-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL. With music by Tom Kitt and book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, the rock musical tells the story of a family coping after a momentous event rattles the foundations of each member’s relationship with their loved ones.

Making its Broadway debut in 2009, Next to Normal has been credited with launching the discussion of mental health in mainstream theater, winning three Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Literature.

Next to Normal will open in February 2025 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater. The musical will be directed by Sandbox’s managing artistic director Toff de Venecia, with musical direction by Ejay Yatco.

This event offers a comprehensive experience with portfolio reviews, engaging workshops, insightful fireside chats, and a dynamic design battle, all in one venue. Hosted at the Philippine Trade Training Center on February 12, 2025, it provides opportunities to learn from industry leaders, showcase your talent, and connect with like-minded individuals. Explore the latest in graphic communications at the merch and booths section while staying inspired by the creative energy surrounding you.
