Call for Entries: 2023 NCCA Writers' Prize

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is now accepting submissions for the biennial NCCA Authors' Prize in 2023.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) has opened its call for entries for the 2023 NCCA Writers’ Prize. This prestigious award is given to outstanding unpublished literary works in various genres and languages, including poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and drama.

The NCCA Writers’ Prize aims to encourage writers to produce works that are not only of high quality but also relevant to Philippine culture and heritage. The award is also a platform for writers to showcase their talents and to contribute to the development of Philippine literature. Aside from the recognition and prestige of winning the award, the NCCA Writers’ Prize also comes with cash prizes.

Writers who are Filipino citizens and currently residing in the Philippines are eligible to submit their entries. The literary works must be written in Filipino, English, or any Philippine language. The deadline for submission is on July 31, 2023.
